DIRETRIZES CURRICULARES E ENSINO DE ARTES NA EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS

Resumo

As Artes estão presentes na vida humana desde o primórdio como forma de comunicação. Atualmente a Arte é considerada uma área de conhecimento e disciplina escolar. Como toda disciplina, seu ensino apresenta problemas particulares, uma herança de seu desenvolvimento histórico. Com as Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais o processo de ensino-aprendizagem passou a possuir um norteador, mas muitas instituições de ensino permanecem com a visão de que Artes é algo secundário e descartável e portanto não seguem as DCNs, trazendo consequências ao processo de ensino integral do aluno do EJA. Com o presente trabalho, objetiva-se verificar como é apresentada na literatura a inexistência de Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para Artes na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) e seus impactos.

Arts have always been present in human life as a form of communication. Currently, Art is considered an area of knowledge and a school subject. Such as any subject, its teaching presents particular problems, which is a legacy of its historical development. Based on the National Curriculum, the process of teaching and learning started having guidelines, but many educational institutions still believe that Art is something secondary and disposable and therefore do not follow the National Curriculum, which brings serious consequences to the teaching process of Youth and Adult Education (EJA, abbreviation in Portuguese). The present work aims to verify how the inexistence of Arts in the National Curriculum Guidelines is presented in the literature concerning EJA and its impacts.
