A PERCEPÇÃO DOS PROFESSORES TUTORES ACERCA DO SEU TRABALHO NOS CURSOS A DISTÂNCIA DO IFSP

Resumo

O presente estudo apresenta uma pesquisa realizada com os professores tutores a distância dos cursos EaD do IFSP, cujo objetivo foi investigar a percepção destes acerca do seu trabalho, considerando os fatores: afinidade, remuneração e satisfação. Foram enviados questionários on line para 147 tutores dos cursos a distância do IFSP em parceria com a e-Tec Brasil. Esta pesquisa evidenciou que no geral os professores tutores possuem afinidade com as disciplinas que ministram, consideram que atingem os resultados esperados com os alunos e sentem-se satisfeitos trabalhando em cursos de EaD. Por outro lado, os professores tutores consideram esta atividade mal remunerada e pouco valorizada. A maioria dos professores também apontou que fica mais fácil de trabalhar quando a turma diminui.

This study presents a survey with teacher tutors in distance courses of the IFSP, whose aim was to investigate their perception about their work, considering the following factors: affinity, compensation and satisfaction. Online questionnaires to 147 tutors of distance courses at IFSP in partnership with e-Tec Brazil were sent. This research showed that in general tutors have affinity with the subjects they teach, consider reaching the expectations with students and feel satisfied working in e-learning courses. On the other hand, they consider their job as an underpaid and undervalued activity. Most teachers also indicated that it is easier to work when the number of students in class decreases.
