BENEFÍCIOS DO TRABALHO COM PROJETOS PARA O CURRÍCULO INTEGRADO: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

Resumo

Este artigo visa mostrar que o trabalho com projetos é um caminho para a integração curricular, sendo alternativa eficiente para trabalhar temas geradores e novos conhecimentos. Para os professores que trabalham o currículo integrado, a inserção de currículo crítico-libertador torna-se um facilitador. Partiu-se da observação sobre a dificuldade dos estudantes de EJA (Educação de Jovens e Adultos) em aceitar o currículo integrado em suas escolas, e de como tais dificuldades se convertem, por vezes, em altos índices de evasão. Considerou-se, também, que muitos professores não obtêm êxito ao trabalhar dessa forma, questionando qual a melhor metodologia a ser empregada. O trabalho com projetos mostrou ser possível a integração entre a escolaridade básica e a formação profissional.

This article aims to show that the project work is a path to curriculum integration, and an efficient alternative to work with generating themes and new knowledge. For teachers who work with the integrated curriculum, the inclusion of critical-liberating curriculum becomes a facilitator. The starting point was the observation about the difficulty of the students of EJA (Youth and Adult Education) to accept the integrated curriculum in their schools, and how these difficulties sometimes cause high dropout rates. It was also felt that many teachers do not get success working that way, questioning what the best methodology is to be employed. The project work proved to promote possible integration between basic education and professional qualification.
