Critical Applied Linguistics: Interview with Alastair Pennycook
Back in 2015, Rubens and Alastair talked about Critical Applied Linguistics both worldwide and in Brazil. CALx has been a subject of interest due to its relevance to Language Studies. Many researchers have carried out their studies upon the relation between language and society as well as social inequalities and injustice, power asymmetry, politics, social privileges, and so on and so forth. The conversation also included a discussion on the need for a continuous research agenda in CALx.
