A IMAGEM DO NEGRO NAS ARTES VISUAIS NO BRASIL: VIRADA DE PARADIGMA, DESAFIOS E CONQUISTAS NO ENSINO DE HISTÓRIA E CULTURA AFRO-BRASILEIRA
Resumo
Este artigo tem como objetivo tratar a importância da figura de negros e negras na História das Artes Visuais brasileiras por meio da análise da relevância do trabalho dos artistas afrodescendentes na construção de suas expressões artísticas de afirmação das raízes africanas e fortalecimento da identidade afro-brasileira. Contextualizando a problemática da desconstrução da figura do negro pela criação artística, representada principalmente pelo olhar europeu. A referente pesquisa, analisou nos dias atuais, quais as medidas legais, com enfoque na implementação da Lei 10.639/2003, estão sendo adotadas para o resgate da contribuição do povo negro na construção da identidade nacional e qual impacto efetivo dessas políticas na mudança do Sistema Educacional Brasileiro.

This article aims to address the importance of black person figure in the History of Brazilian Visual Arts through the analysis of the relevance of the work of African descent artists in building their artistic expressions of affirmation of African roots and strengthening of african-Brazilian identity. Contextualizing with the problem of deconstruction of the figure of the black by artistic creation, mainly represented by the European look. The related research, analyzed today, including legal measures, focusing on the implementation of Law 10.639/2003, are being adopted for the recovery of the black people contribution in the construction of national identity and what actual impact of these policies in changing the System Brazilian Education.
